Questions Q: My wig doesn’t fit comfortably. What’s wrong? A: All wigs are not the same size. They vary in circumference from 19” to 23”. Like fitting a hat properly, sizing does matter. Q: How can I get it to fit better? A: Most times simple alterations will help. You can have it done by a professional like me – or I’ll show you how to rip and alter so you can do it yourself. Q: Can I change the color? A: If it’s human hair – yes. If it’s synthetic, the fiber has been manufactured the color you see. This fiber cannot be made lighter, but can be “rinsed” to add a slight depth. Q: How can I get my wig to go the right direction? A: Most wigs are manufactured to flow/lay from left to right or to lay to the front or to the back. It is best if your style follows its manufactured direction. Q: I’ve lost my hair and my scalp is sensitive. What can I do? A: You might want to wear a nylon cap on your head as it will help prevent the wig wefting from causing as much friction. Or consider purchasing a hairgoods that has a mono-fiber top. This is a smoother fabric that gives a more realistic look to your hair style. Q: I can’t find anything that really looks like “me.” What should I do? A: You may want to consider a custom-made hairgoods. I can help you design it specifically for what you want. Q: How much should I spend on my wig or hair replacement? A: There is really no absolute as everyone views the value of hair care service differently. But you feel good about how you look and your self-confidence can be strengthened …then it’s worth every penny spent. Q: What's the process to getting a wig? A: Here are the steps involved. 1.
